Physics Problem NEED HELP!!!!!!?

It takes 4.0 uJ of work to move a 11 nC charge from point A to B. It takes -6.5 uJ of work to move the charge from C to B.

What is the potential difference VC - VA?

VC - VA = ___V

Update:

@ D g: Thats not the right answer. my hw problems are online based and its not accepting that answer.

Best answer

it actually is the answer the units are slightly wrong

11 nC = 11 * 10^-09

and 4.0 uJ = 4.0 *10^-6

W = qV is the point charge work formula

4.0 uJ = 11*10^-9*Va

Va = 4.0*10^-6/11*10^-9volts

Va = 3.6 * 10^2

the other is

-6.5 uJ = 11nC * Vc

Vc = - 6.5*10^-6/11*10^-9 volts

Vc = -5.9*10^2

V = Vc - Va = -5.90*10^2 - 3.6*10^2 = -9.5*10^2

sorry about the unit screw up
