If the partial pressure of the diatomic gas is 0.810 atm, what is the total pressure?

Now, it shows a picture of 3 gases, and it says count the INDEPENDENT particles. So:

5 orange

6 blue

3 green (but it was a green and green connected, but I thought since it meant independent, it would be 3 rather than 6!)

I need help :(

Consider a particle to be

a single unconnected ball

2 balls together count as a single particle (these are the diatomic particles.)

3 balls together count as a single particle.

Using those definition of particles

count the total number of particles = T

count the total number of diatomic particles = D

Total pressure = 0.810atm x [T/D]

Or you could think about it like

0.810atm / D = the pressure per particle.

pressure per particle x # particles = total pressure.
