Suppose a piece of jewelry contains 5.29 X 10^22 atoms of silver.

When I try dividing on my scientific calculator I keep getting 8.78 which is not the correct answer, any steps at arriving at the CORRECT answer would be greatly appreciated!

moles contains 6.02 x 10^23 silver atoms

so moles = (5.29 X 10^22)/ (6.02 x 10^23)

= 5.29/6.02 x 1/10

= 0.08787 moles
